The Afghan Youth Action (AYA) Network is proud to be a member of the Localization Hub, a global platform dedicated to advancing locally led humanitarian action and strengthening the leadership of local and national organizations. Through this membership, AYA joins a community of practitioners, civil society organizations, and humanitarian partners working to promote equitable partnerships, local leadership, and sustainable humanitarian responses.
As Afghanistan's largest youth-led volunteer network, AYA contributes a youth perspective to localization efforts by promoting meaningful youth engagement, volunteerism, community participation, and grassroots leadership. Our nationwide network enables us to connect local communities with national and international partners while supporting inclusive, community-driven solutions.
AYA's membership in the Localization Hub reflects our commitment to the principles of the Grand Bargain and the localization agenda. We believe that local organizations and young people should play a central role in designing, implementing, and leading humanitarian and development initiatives. Through this platform, we seek to exchange knowledge, strengthen institutional capacity, build strategic partnerships, and advocate for greater recognition of youth-led organizations in humanitarian action.
